So I'm finally getting around to sharing the images from all the shoots I've been working on recently. This one is particularly special to me as I got to work with my dear friend and designer Samantha Kennedy of Molly Loves Bowie. The shoot was such fun to be on and we had a great team assembled and I can safely say I have never laughed so much or been covered in so much glitter after a shoot!

The Weekend Photoshoot
I've been terribly slack on the blogging front of late but I literally haven't had a spare minute the last few months. I've been doing some really interesting shoots recently and here's one I styled for The Weekend section of The Examiner in conjunction with Mercedes Benz Cork Fashion Week. The shoot was a real showcase of all Cork style has to offer so I used a combination of looks from vintage, high street, local designers and boutiques.

Models: Aisling Deasy & Lisa Wong from Lockdown Models

My Chicks Have Flown The Nest
Another set of my students have completed their course in Personal Shopping and Styling with me and like a proud Irish Mammy I have to share their final projects with you. The girls came up with the concept and styled their own shoots and I think you'll agree they are pretty awesome!!
I love how different both girl's shoots were with Lijana opting for a real edgy street wear and modern vibe while Sinead with a more vintage feel with a gorgeous 1920's inspired look.
Enjoy!

Fashionable Folk
I'm pretty rubbish at taking pictures of myself wearing clothes in a street style/blogger fashion, I've made my peace with that. I do however love a good street style snoop so I've decided to document all the marvellously dressed folk that I come across in my day to day life.
First up is the always fabulously turned out Leona O' Sullivan Breen from Le Chat Noir Vintage Events and the Oh Me, Oh My DIY workshops. I love Leona's fab mix of vintage and high street which is always accessorized to perfection.
Tell me a little bit about the outfit:
Both tee shirt and skirt were purchases from the River Island summer sale this year, shoes are last year (or even the year before i think) Betty Jackson for debenhams..bag is from Zara....love to shop in all or our cities amazing vintage stores like Miss Daisy Blue, Turquoise Flamingo and Mercury Goes Retrograde and high street (H&M, Zara and River Island). I love etsy for unique jewellery ("Archie" gold bar chain from made by Mary etsy store)
I'm incredibly nosy, give me an unknown interesting fact about yourself:
I don't like to brag but I did come second in a bonnie baby contest in carrigtohill in 1982..
Guurrlll you was robbed!!

Yin & Yang
I just came across these images from a shoot I styled a while back with a fantastic team. I had forgotten about the shoot so it was a lovely surprise to find them again. I particularly loved that all the clothing and accessories are from local designers and stores.
Hope you like them too....
Have a lovely rest of weekend everyone!

Glastonbury '14!!!!
Well, I'm finally back to reality after a crazy few days at Glastonbury. I'm quite literally a shell of a woman after a mad five days of non stop music, good hang times with great friends and some serious par-taying! We arrived on the Wednesday to a beautiful gazebo community which had been set up by Pete, Keeley, Brittany and Ken. It was bunting and inflatable animals galore and within the first two hours I had already face palmed onto the metal walkway. I blame the wellies not the Rose vino. This meant I walked around for the rest of the festival with two cut and bruised knees. Tres chic!
The weather was mainly sunny and lovely but there was some epic thunder, lightening and rain on one of the days hence why I spent most of the weekend covered in mud. So apologies if you're expecting some amazing outfit posts from me. I quite literally looked like a mad vagabond for the whole weekend bar some amazing floral head pieces from Wild Floral Couture and Ruby Morley Millinery and some fab sunglasses and suede fringed jacket from Cotton Face Vintage.
We also went to see some amazing gigs including MIA who was probably my favourite of the weekend, Massive Attack, Jurassic 5, The Tune Yards, Dolly Parton and a secret tree house Aphex Twin gig to name but a few. I also developed a serious addiction to frozen margaritas which I completely blame for the loss of both my back up phone and my camera. Thus I would like to thank Keeley and the two Sarahs for letting me rob some of their photos for this post.
Roll on next year......
